If it's too thick you also may have to add a small extra amount of almond milk. Hope that helps!Don't Get Mad, Get Vegan!https://www.blogger.com/profile/16560260155964556702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33432539.post-56308738521119381012015-01-21T14:58:53.472-05:002015-01-21T14:58:53.472-05:00This looks amazing, although I don't eat banan...This looks amazing, although I don't eat bananas. It's gooey, sticky and just plain gross.
At Costco they had this big bag of organic steel cut oats and thought that maybe I'll give it a try. Still not good! Then I started searching for recipe variations of the old-fashioned oatmeal and then came across your recipe. OH MY OATS!!! This is a true life-saver!
This is the best and only way my son and I can eat oats without having to gag (true story!).
You are awesome for sharing :)
I usually make this on Sundays and then eat it throughout the week.
I add pecans and craisins every now and then for a little extra chunkiness :)Polliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04804094392298176643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33432539.post-14472641421433186332014-04-01T08:34:06.164-05:002014-04-01T08:34:06.164-05:00I just made these and they are amazing!! They soak up the milk enough while baking so they're not hard? Awesome! Need to try. I read that people used to make thick porridge and then pour it into a drawer (which was there for the purpose) and cut slices off through the week, and the idea really appealed.
